Shaning

The act of committing a shane.

a) Providing an excuse for not training, after one has previously commited to training.

b) The act of leaving training early to avoid sparring. Creates raucous shouts of “SHANE”, sounding like SHAME. Which is what they should be feeling for leaving training early and bailing out of sparring.

“He said he was coming training tonight, but now he is totally shaning.”

“Josh left before sparring, again. Fucking Shane.” “SHANE!” “SHANE!”
