rochester

A city in Upstate NY with a population of 220,000 Metro pop. 1.1 million. Has really bad winters, but perfect summers and falls. The downtown area is improving itself in great strides, and the suburban areas have been ranked some of the best areas to live for years. (Greece is 5th safest city in America, Brighton has one of the best school districts, Rochester region the most educated medium sized city in America) So suck it. All of the people on here who are bashing Rochester need to get a life. They are most likely from Buffalo, which is jealous of Rochester because the Buffalo area is losing population, and the Rochester area is gaining population. Rochester has Kodak, Xerox, Baush&Lomb, Wegmans, Chase-Pitkin, all headquartered here, and the University of Rochester is a leader in the fields of engineering, medicine, and dentistry. Buffalo HAD the steel industry and Buffalo Wings, and that is it. They need to stop bashing Rochester and focus on improving their area.

Rochester is better than Buffalo, get over it.

Rochelle Park

A small, largely white town with nothing to do, ever. People walk around town like they own it, when they probably don't even own the clothes on their back. It really blows, because everyone, the kids & their mothers & their fathers & the mothers father's mother are all evil skanks. There's a CVS, a sushi place, Carlock (which is now locked?), and this place in the park where sketched-out druggies go to congregate. There's also a golden statue of Jesus encased in glass. At the 711 they don't check your ID for cigarettes. The mall is really close by, but the mall is borring. I think the Tasteful Deli has changed owners 920348 times in the past month. In conclusion, Rochelle Park has scary rabid animals that come and bite scarier people.

Whenever I am asked as to where I live I lie, because I am ashamed that I'm a resident of Rochelle Park.

rochester

a city in new york whose economy is pretty much screwed, and where nobody actually wants to go, due to its high crime rate. there is, however, a sort of charming quality about it which persuades people to stay. in the suburbs, of course, so you don't get shot.

dude#1: oh, yeah, so i've decided to leave rochester...i mean, i have to carry a gun with me everywhere i go!!!
dude#2: but...it's nice here...i don't know why...maybe it's something in the air...

Rochester

A city in western New York that has nothing going for it at all.....a large city that is literally hemorraging it's citizens to other cities or the outer suburbs at the minimum.......even most of the airlines are abandoning their mainline flights to Rochester and replacing them with their little "jungle jet" feederliners!

John: Damn, this downtown area and the city in general is as deader as a doorknob!

Dave: Yeah, look around......nothing to do at all since The Mill shut down 27 years ago and all these beggars begging for money!!!

Rochester

A cold boring city for people who want to grow old in their young age. A city where the extent of a night out is going to a lame ass bar and getting a hot plate. Guys are all jacked up on steriods becuase they have to make up for their half brains and personalities. Girls are all dirty arrogant NYC wannabees or washed up HS hotties turned fat. Got the rich in east and the italians on the west. Its still the place you always remember but never go back to.

Rochester

A rotting hole in New York State on the shore of Lake Ontario. So desperate for help that they're betting all their hope on a 'fast ferry' that runs to Toronto. Only thing a fast ferry is going to do is destroy their economy faster, hah!
