Something that someone subjects themselves to (such as music or literature) with the sole purpose being to look smarter or fit in.

Hipster: "I'm gonna go listen to some Neutral Milk Hotel. You wanna come?"

Not Hipster: "Nah, man. That's some serious Hipster Garbage."

garbage plate

Just about an entire cookout (burger or hotdog, mac salad, fried, hotsauce, condements, usually served with bread) on a foam food tray. All in all about 3000 calories and enough food to last several days.

The garbage plate is proof the god love the people of Rochester and wants up to be happy.

Garbage Wiping

The act of wiping with previously used tissue paper (usually retrieved from the garbage), because the toilet paper is all gone. This relatively gross act is to be used as a last resort method of wiping, and is not for everyone. Some would rather continue with a poopy butt than subject themselves to this.

Garbage Day Eve

The night before garbage day.

Excuse commonly used by some as a reason to go out drinking during week nights to celebrate the wonderful city workers who will come pick up your trash. I have often heard this to be Saint Randy.

The beauty is that you can go out drinking for others garbage day eve since city collections occur on different days.

Tom: You look terrible, have a rough night?
Bruce: Yeah, Garbage Day Eve was rough, I didn't even make it up to see Saint Randy this morning.
