Flying Fickle Finger of Fate

Pronunciation: \ˈflī\\iŋ \ˈfi-kəl\ \ˈfiŋ-gər\ \ˈäv\ \ˈfāt\

This perhaps is the first version of "flipping the bird" on prime time TV.(Rowan & Martin's "Laugh In". Was an American sketch comedy television program which ran for 140 episodes from January 22, 1968 to May 14, 1973.)

If they thought some deserved getting "the finger" They would be given "Flying Fickle Finger of Fate Award", saluting actual dubious achievements by the government or famous people. A breakthrough in TV broadcasting.
Holding ones arm outstretched with thumb and fingers retracted except the middle one and the middle finger extended as far as possible, You are now Flying the Fickle finger of fate. When you aim it at someone in particular, you are giving them a "Flying Fickle Finger of Fate Award"

Escape The Fate

An American post-hardcore band that originated in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2004. The band got famous by winning a radio contest hosted by My Chemical Romance. They were later signed to Epitaph Records. The original Escape the Fate members were: Ronnie Radke, Max Green, Robert Ortiz, Bryan "Monte" Money, and Omar Espinosa. Their album "Dying is Your Latest Fashion" was released in 2006 with all of the original members. Omar Espinosa left the band for "personal reasons" afterwards. Ronnie Radke was asked to leave the band after he was sentenced to prison in June 2008 for multiple run-ins with the law involving narcotics and battery for a fight that led up to the death of Michael Cook. Due to the departure of Radke, he was replaced by vocalist Craig Mabbitt. Since Mabbitt joined Escape the Fate, the band has release two albums. In 2008, their album "This War is Ours" was released. In 2010, their self-titled album was released.
