Slang term for Military Working Dog Handlers. First heard the term used in 1973 while stationed at Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Michigan.

a person who helps keep the pillow (which muffles the sound)in a drummer's bass drum in place so it doesn't slide out.

The drummer in the band requested a pillow pusher halfway through the set.

Somebody who works (typically) in an office job and brings no enthusiasm to it. They simply press buttons on a keyboard and go home.
