Peasant Carriage

Most means of public transportation
IE: Bus, Train, Coach etc.
Me "Why not just get a bus and save money"
Mark "I must contest, I refuse to travel on the peasant carriage"
Me: "Thou must protest as your financial situation is dyer"
Mark "Once yonder giro is cashed ones means of transportation would become more favourable kind sir"

peasant boy

A poor person who is unable to pay for drinks or a round of shots for their boys and is only able to get drunk by stealing boozes or mooching of others kindness.
The ole beer and pee swap, that is what the peasant boy gets for drinking beer thru a straw when nobody was looking. Classic bait and switch.

Peasant-year

A unit of value. One peasant-year is equal to the cost of employing one peasant (anyone making minimum wage) for a year.

For example: in the USA minimum wage is $7.25 an hour and peasants are legally entitled to time off, meaning a peasant-year is equal to $7.25 an hour * 40 hours a week * 50 weeks, or $14,500.
Jeff Bezos has a net worth of $184.6 billion, or 12,731,034.5 peasant-years.

Peasant-faced

To have a face that is ugly and resembles that of a person in the lower class.
I could tell that girl was from the slums, she is so peasant-faced.

Peasant Pie

Any piece of toast with jam, jelly or fruit spread.
I'm a bit hungry but there is nothing in the fridge. Guess I'll break out the bread and make some peasant pie.
