When something is closer it is uppercase, and when it’s further away it’s smaller so it’s lowercase. When you “kick something to the lowercase” it essentially means kicking their ball off.

“Boy if you don’t quit playin’ with me Imma kick you to the lowercase !”

“You should be nicer to that one girl, I heard she likes to kick guys to the lowercase.”
