A former Vice President who avoided the Vietnam War draft by joining the Indiana National Guard. He embarrassed George Bush by his unbelievably idiotic remarks. One such case was that he panned the popular TV show 'Murphy Brown' because the FICTIONAL main title character (portrayed by Candace Bergen) had an adulterous affair. It was 'against Family Values' in his book. He was too stupid to realize that it was just a comedic (with a little drama) FICTIONAL TV show, not 'encouraging' anything. After George Bush lost his reelection bid to Bill Clinton in 1992, he stated that he was going to retire to be a full time grandpa, and write his memoirs. They came out nearly 9 years later. He's had a colorful illustrious life and many changes occurred during his 8 years as Reagan's Vice President and 4 as President.
