Merthyr Tydfil

A town found in the South of Wales. It has a population of about 30,000 and was once the largest town in country.
Enough of that boring stuff, it's home to the most beautiful accent and the people there are really nice. Also some of the front men from the best bands (in my opinion) hail from this town

mertha is the non-sensical term made up by non-Jamaicans and confused for the word "murda" in the popular reggae song World a Reggae by Ini Kamoze. The term has nothing to do with anything Jamaican. It is used by non-Jamaicans to apply to the feeling you get when smoking the ganja and listening to reggae.

Ini Kamoze himself said the word in the song is murder.
