Prior to being a contestant on the dance reality show, Donyelle was a dancer in Black Eyed Peas and Missy Elliot videos. She also won her dance off on the TV show Dance 360. In the movie 'Be Cool', Donyelle was a featured dancer and has been on tour with rappers Snoop Dogg and The Game. She was also a featured choreographer in the Choreographer Ball 'Carnival' in LA.
