Industrial 

1 - A philosophy about music started in the later 1800's by supposed father of industrial music Luigi Russolo. The first recorded piece being "Corale" in 1921 by Luigi and his brother Antonio. The philosophy included using means other than the traditional means of creating music. With such devices as intonarumori, or noise machines.

2 - A short lived genre revived from a philosophy by Throbbing Gristle and continued by bands such as Einsturzende Neubauten, Laibach and Skinny Puppy.

3 - A term wrongly used to identify electronic and electronic rock music. Fits in with terms like techno and electronica. Industrial rock evolved out of this.

4 - Word associated with electronic music because of the artificial way it is made.

5 - Music beyond music.

That can't be industrial! They used traditional instruments. Not an experimental instrument to be found!

Better Life Industries 

Better Life Industries (or BLI) are a global corporation who will take over the world (practically) in 2019, lead by Korse, who is fighting the Killjoys in their battle for freedom. They will force everyone on to drugs and medication so no one has thoughts or feelings anymore. They also have regular intervals during television slots to hypnotize the public into an ever deeper trance by using phrases such as 'the aftermath is secondary' and 'have you taken your meds? today'.

Usually this 'gang' wear masks, so everyone is the same, yet they're all in white, yet like the killjoys they all have different names. The killjoys have imaginative names, based on themselves, where as in BLI, as they're all the same, their names are numbers such as '002344'.

Even though they are seemed as much more powerful in the future, the killjoys always seem to fight back somehow, getting more and more 'Killjoys' to fight back at them, trying to make the system fair and equal for everyone.

Industrial Engineer

Someone who is basically good at everything and does not want to be pigeon-holed as a certain "type" of engineer.

Minimum requirements for a GOOD Industrial Engineer are:

Genius level intelligence
High-level abstract thinking skills
Predominantly logic based thought patterns
Awesome computer skills
Sarcasm

Unfortunately, since the main focus of this field is primarily undefined, it tends to also attract people who aren’t smart enough to be a particular type of engineer, or who are lazy and thrive on lack of focus. These lame few have created a bad image for Industrial Engineering as a whole and have led to the field being sarcastically referred to as “Imaginary Engineering”.

Person 1: "Is there anything that dude doesn't know?"

Person 2: "Nope, he is an Industrial Engineer"
