A reference to all emo kids in general. Being that emo is a false genre compiled from bits of other (valid) musical subcultures into a uniquely bland, and unoriginal composite, emo is "retarded," the combination of "emo" and "retard" becomes the redundant, but accurate slur.

All those emo kids who think they are being original by looking like each other and pretending to be so emotionally deep are really self-deluded emotards.

Adj. used to describe someone who is incapable of understanding or communicating their true feelings or emotions.
1. Emotionally ignorant to the various levels of emotion. Only expresses emotion in black or white - angry or happy. Doesn’t know how to differentiate the emotional shades of gray in between.
2. Often afraid that people will look down on them for expressing their true emotions.
3. Tend to convince themselves that they are feeling a certain way to cover up their true feelings.

Every time my sister is upset about something she says she's angry without analyzing that anger is a reaction that stems from hurt, disappointment, or sadness. She's so out of tune with her feelings that she's emotionally retarded!

Friends with Emotional Benefits

Friends with emotional benefits or FWEB (pronouned "feb") is a relationship between two people similar to the more common friends with benefits arrangement, except without the physicality. Benefits include being able to whine, pamper, understand, defend, help, talk, whisper, use inside jokes with each other, etc... Hallmarks of such a relationship are two people who talks about sex, but never have sex. One person in the relationship is typically sprung. The other person is typically "looking," "still young," or "not sure." They bear every semblance to a real couple, except they are not one.

An ex-couple which stay close, uncomfortably close, friends. Typically, sprung guys/girls have a Friends with Emotional Benefits relationship. You guys are such fwebs. Quit being fwebs and just get back together.

An adult, most commonly a male, who has never fully developed or matured emotionally and is characterized by a low degree of self awareness, awkward interactions with other people, a lack of empathy and an inability to achieve intimacy.
