Chèvre

The God of all cheeses.
Chèvre (french for goat) is a soft goat cheese made in France. It is especially delicious when mixed with fresh herbs such as chives, served on a toasted garlic rubbed baguette with slices of soppressata on top
Has your father bought the chèvre yet? We need to make those baguettes!

chevere

This word came to Puerto Rico through the Venezuelan TV novelas (soap operas) that were popular in the '60 and 70. It brought to Venezuelan by the African slaves of the West Coast country of Nigeria. It is from the Ibo tribe and the literal translation from "che ebere" is god's mercy.
That's chevere, or chuchi. Chuchi seems to be derived from chevere?

chevaline

n. shev-uh-leen

1.
Chevaline is a fictional creature from Neal Stevenson's post-cyberpunk novel The Diamond Age. The Chevaline is a nanovictorian bioengineered horse-like creature built with a virtually unlimited power supply and preternatural agility. Seems to derive from the French word for an equestrian statue.

2.
Chevaline is the pseudonym for Memetec Design LLC's creative director C. Cole, an accomplished dancer who was involved in establishing The Venue in Boise Idaho.
"A horse, or something built around the same general plan, was coming down the street at a hard gallop. Its hooves did not make the pocking noise of iron horseshoes. Bud realized it was a chevaline - a four-legged robot thingy."
From The Diamond Age, by Neal Stephenson.
