Catapa

Native to Turkey, a medium sized tree fruit tasting much like papaya. This well loved treat often fell victim to theft at local bazaars. Merchants would wear gloves when handling Catapa due to it's know staining of the skin red, making it a visible marker for petty theft. Hence the origin of the popular expression "Caught Red Handed"
