Get the Bobs Your Unclemug. Named after the fictional character from "South Park," the Uncle Jimbo Doctrine refers to a formal or informal military policy that enables otherwise reckless actions (that usually involves excessive killings and/or collateral damage) by invoking self-defense as a justification.
Israel has a right to defend itself, but its recent actions in Lebanon is an exercise of the Uncle Jimbo Doctrine.
