Laissez-faire Tyranny

When the state is oppressive and the nation is in dire straits but the rulers don't give two shits what goes on anywhere and the government does nothing (except suppress change maybe). It's oppression through inaction, tyranny of negligence. Usually this occurs in a rigid hereditary absolute monarchy where a bunch of inbred fucks can party until they get lynched by peasants, but really anything can end up in such a state.
People have applied the term "laissez-faire tyranny" to the Late Ancien Régime and the Qing Dynasty

Not fair to the other guys

You are not doing anything one the basis of fairness. How I am being treated there cannot be considered fair in any way shape or form. And you're not paying me to stand there and not nothing. I am doing all of the register work.

Doing fair for a square

Definition: A rhythmic, high-integrity response to the greeting "How are you doing?" or "How have you been?" It signifies that the speaker is living an honest, upright life and that "The Creator" or the world is treating them with the same fairness they give to others.
The Philosophy: It identifies the speaker as a "square" (a person of solid character who follows the right path) and confirms that because they do "fair" by everyone, they are receiving "fair" in return. It is a boast of peace, stability, and clean living.
Origin: Coined by Charles Edward Rice II.
Person A: "Hey man, it’s been a while! How you been doing lately?"
Person B: "Can’t complain, brother. I’m doing fair for a square."
Meaning: "I'm staying out of trouble, working hard, and life is treating me right because of it."
