(1) An offensive slang term for someone who reflects off emotion. A robot.

(2) A downer. Someone supposedly made of chrome materials.

EX--Jerry was being a real CHROME yesterday. I told him that I got a new job. I was really excited, but he just shrugged and mumbled.

EX--Jerry was such a CHROME earlier. I was really enthusiastic about my job interview tomorrow, but of course he found something negative to say about it.
