I was forced to read this garbage in American Literature (11th grade english) and I really wish I could get the time I spent reading it back. It is about Native Americans that basically fuck people and believe in ghosts. There isn't much of a plot, and the characters are very unlikable. Fuck you Susan Powers (author).
Oh my god, I cannot do the annotations for The Grass Dancer because it sucked so bad. It is cruel and unusual punishment to make me read that again to annotate.
