DOPELOOP is when you spend hours passively scrolling and swiping and cycling through social media feeds, locked into chasing 'just one more' dopamine hit from likes, follows, snaps, comments, stories, photos, posts, etc.

DOPELOOP is semi-automatic engagement, low on thinking, high on intuition. It is a solo activity. Some consider DOPELOOP to be a symptom of mild obsessive compulsive behavior.

Many people get trapped in a DOPELOOP scrolling through softly sexualized content, searching endlessly for 'just a few more' photos of - for example - the Tik Tok #fyp or an attractive Instagram feed.
