Shafted

(a)An organised meeting between two groups that fails to materialise with no reason given.

'Shafted' is a segment on Are You*th Being Served? a youth engagement radio show that runs on switch 1197 in Brisbane, Australia. It came from an arranged interview between the shows hosts and the Beaconsfield Miners and was confirmed only 2 hours prior to said interview.

The Beaconsfield Miners became famous in 2006 when stuck down a mine 'shaft' for 2 weeks and hence why the segment is appropriately named 'shafted'.

The show now actively seeks interviews with famous people when the ultimately know they will be 'shafted' for that interview.

"We tried getting Paris Hilton on the show this week, but she 'shafted' us"

Shaft of Damocles

A device for smoking marijuana that is made by cutting off the end of a wiffle ball bat, poking a hole in the side, and inserting an aluminum foil bowl into the hole. The bowl is then lit, and the end is covered, allowing the shaft to fill with smoke. It is then inhaled from the base of the bat.

We hit the shaft of damocles last night. Cost us $2 and hits like no other.

term, which describes little 93'-kiddies, who don't know when to hit the shift-button on their keyboard. These kids mostly use abbreviations like ILY and/or lysm.

This is sometimes used to replace the common exclamation point, but most often they are used together.

It usually expresses extreme happiness or anger about something, and a regular exclamation point isn't enough to express how the person feels.

Occasionally the word shift is left out and just the number 1 is used.
