Someone whose primary means of employment involves a desk.
This can be anything from someone who is just above cubicles to a receptionist to a glorified receptionist.
This person is usually ridiculous on their own accord.
Desk jockeys are often found in the tourism industry.

The twins got jobs as desk jockeys at an RV rental place, so they explain rental contracts in both of Canada's national languages.

carpet jockey

A term used to describe those crazy arabs and their silly magical stories. (Aladdin.) You know, its funny how people make such a big friggin deal about minority racial slurs, but when Dave Chappelle or Nick Cannon goes on TV and makes fun of white people for a whole hour and calls it a television show, nobody says a friggin word. Therefore, this is not a 'derogatory' term.

Those goddam carpet jockeys should stop bombing INNOCENT people and learn to accept people's differences. Maybe then we wouldn't think so lowly of them.

Typically of the Muslim descent, but recently it has been found that all Middle-Eastern people are camel jockeys. They are known to wear turbans and shitty ass robes, also many have poor hi-gene due to the fact of limited resources and very little money.
