A very serious sore throat related to singing karaoke. It is caused by trying to overcompensate for the volume being dialed down too low on a karaoke microphone. Sometimes mistaken for a bacterial infection caused by various forms of oral sex.

Karaoke Language

Thai Romanization.
Seen in karaoke machines all over Thailand so that farang can sing in Thai.
Can be used in Google Translate to type Thai words.
Example: "กำลังใจ" basically reads "kamlang chai"

I don't know about your Romanization stuff, but I'm pretty good at karaoke language.

If da King and Duke had tried their hands at singing, they would likely have gotten "karayolkeed" by da disgusted crowd, just as they would have been pelted wif rotten organic projectiles on da costume-show stage if they hadn't hightailed it off right before da third show-night.

Karaoke Choir

Karaoke Choir (n) - A group of people who come together to sing songs as a group over karaoke backing tracks. The Karaoke Choir sings the songs all the way through following the lyrics, which are displayed either on a screen or on print outs. The group only perform to each other, so are singing for the sake of singing, to connect with each other and enjoy the songs they might not have sung in a while.

We enjoyed singing Happy at the Clapham Karaoke Choir this afternoon; repeating the verse made me really happy!
