Troglodyte

A person that tends to stay inside for most of the day, usually glued to their chair browsing internet forums. Troglodytes also tend to refuse real social interaction and prefer speaking to people through VOIP applications and instant messaging.

Haven't seen John today, that troglodyte is probably at his home rotting at this desk.
