An "athlete" who tries half as hard as everyone else on the team.

Someone on the team who comes out to half the games and half the practices and never works hard.

Very common in hockey, especially on the B teams. Also known as doggin' it

Man 1: Hey Jim did you see Bob's half-assed performance...he was really doggin it out there tonight

Man 2: He calls himself an athelete?!....More like a HALFLETE

heffle

(1) A term used to describe a person who is being anything other than pleasant. Usually used with a negative connotation but (2)can, in some cases, be used in terms of endearment.

1. When your friend is driving like a road-raging maniac you could say: "Slow down, you heffle!"
2. When a person is dressed particularly well: "Wow, you are the most beautiful heffle that I have ever seen!"

One of four house in Hogwart from the Harry Potter series .They were founded by Helga Hufflepuff and heavily focused on Herbology because most of the students are stoners and pot smokers

Hogwart teacher : " ENOUGH !!! You can't huff-the-puff in the classroom just because you are a Hufflepuff ! One more time smoking those "muggle magic herbs" and you are expelled !!!

Hufflepuff

1. The lamest house in all of Hogwarts.
If you're not brave, smart, or an asshole; you're sorted into this house by default.

2. To be a complete antisocial nerd.

"50 points from Hufflepuff for playing Dungeons and Dragons during Potions class!" said Professor Snape, causing an acne-covered young wizard to burst into tears.

Pretty much everyone on the internet is a Hufflepuff.
