When someone send you a text you need to reply to but probably shouldn't

Text worm

An unnecessarily long, angry text message usually sent by an ex wife. Text worms can contain an overdose of grammar, such as I can not, or You have, Repetition of sentences, stuff that doesn't make any sense to you, swear words, and/or combinations of swear words such as: (And I have actually seen this) Jackhole. Most text worms only need to be responded with "Ok" or "Thanks" maybe even "Wow". If you want to piss them off and make them send shorter, faster texts then send an emoji of a person speaking. If you want to ignore them turn off your phone and put it under something where you can't hear the dings.

The text worm was long and angry, and it didn't make any sense to me so I just said yes.

Text-ican Standoff

When a man and a woman start dating, but one of them loses interest and stops texting, and the other person doesn't want to send another text until the person that has lost interest responds to their previous text for the fear that they are seeming desperate. Similar to the Mexican Standoff but with texts not guns.

text-raid

During the initial stage of a relationship with a narcissist, they employ (love bombing) to seduce their victims. One manner in which they do this is to Text-Raid them. Text Raiding is the incessant, frequent and constant texts that narcissists send to their partners, in the beginning of a relationship, in order to reel them in and ensnare them in the relationship. Once the target/partner is secured, the love bombing stops as do the text raids.

Jon was so busy attending to the text-raid sent by his new girlfriend, that he did not even look up when his friends entered the bar.

Text Hog

A person who attempts to dominate a text thread by constantly texting over and over again. Usually considered on the 4th straight text. One text = standard, two texts =possible correction/misspelling, three texts = found clarification or announcement of conclusion, fourth text = Text Hog. Can be used on someone who writes a vast majority of the texts.

That guy won't let anyone else comment on his ridiculous ideas. He is being a real Text Hog.

A text message that is not understood by the recipient/s; due to spelling and formatting. Often containing anagrams that are uncommon and/or incorrect.

My brother sent me a TEXT GUESSAGE ...again, which made no sense to me because it was like reading Morse Code!!!
