Little Brother

A term used to refer to Texas University located in Austin, Texas. Specifically, it refers to t.u.’s relationship to the state’s flagship university and Big Brother, Texas A&M University. Little Brother has a history of losing football games in its brutal in conference schedule, featuring a slate against blue blood football programs such as Kansas, TCU, West Virginia, and Baylor, otherwise known as murderer’s row.

Poor Little Brother! They’re having a hard time beating Gary Patterson and TCU, I don’t know why they think it’s a good idea to follow Texas A&M to a real conference.

If everyone was a thought brother/sister, there wouldn't be anyone more in charge than the next, there would be no hierarchy.

A thought brother/sister must be a dream to wake up from, since people seem to want a thought leader more than they want one of those.

Little Brother Syndrome

When a person/organization/whatever noun (#1) feels a rivalry with another person/org/noun (#2), and does everything they can to feel like they are beating the other group, meanwhile person (#2) does not recognize the rivalry at all or does not consider person (#!) a threat.
Named this way because little brothers have a knack for being annoying puntable things

Greg totally has Little Brother Syndrome, when he heard Alysa read 25 pages he read 30 just to be better than her. Little does he know "Learn ABC's with Caillou" is not on par with "War and Peace."

A person who shows you off to all of his friends and tells his family about you. They are also a person who you can talk to and they will comfort you.
