Gender

A gender when thought as the normal for centuries is that sex you were assigned at birth, male or female (Which are the only assigned sex).

A gender is, a concept which was developed in the 1970s, not biologically determined but defined from society norms and roles, male and female sex characteristics.

'Gander Jack

Basically a Michigander Jack o' lantern. It is a Jack O' Lantern carved from a parsnip instead of a pumpkin. The original jack o lantern in the folklore was a parsnip so it continues the tradition. Sometimes the leftover parsnip trimmings are used to make Pastys which are a regional dish
