A text sent through iMessage that exceeds the 18,996 max character limit, thus causing an arrow to appear which expands the message into a text reader rather than iMessage.

This crazy bitch is blowing up my phone. She won't stop sending me Looka texts. It's like reading a novel.

The three-part text message cancellation

The passive-agressive, real-time technique a girl will use to cancel a date with a guy, starting with an initial postponing ("seeing a friend from out of town!"), a second postponing ("my friend is late, sorry!") and ending with outright cancellation, often without a second date suggestion ("Sorry, can't make it tonight! Talk soon")

The three-part text message cancellation goes as follows:
Girl: Hey, yeah, my friend Anna is in town for the night, and we'll just get dinner. Meet afterward for drinks?
Guy: Sure.
Girl: Yeah, so she's kind of down, I'm gonna have a couple of drinks with her, is that okay?
Guy: Yeah, I'll see you later.
Girl: Okay so Anna is sleeping over, girl's night in. Really sorry.
Guy: Okay, so we do this later then?
Girl: ...

Safe text

Verifying that a text message goes to the right person, as to avoid the humiliation of giving out the wrong information to the wrong person.

Michelle: Did you get my text?

Liz: Um, no. What'd it say?

Michelle: Ugh! I must've sent it to Lisa, then. I was talking about how much I hate her and the fact that she's such a hypocritical ice queen.

Liz: God, Michelle, she's our friend! And I agree, but you definitely should've practiced safe text.

Generation Text

After Generation X, there came Generation Next, Now we have upon us, GENERATION TEXT.
Todays up and comming youth, and its current focus on their cell phones' latest abilities. The most popular is the advent and application of Text Messaging. This generation appears to prefer texting over talking, or even personally interacting with their friends. This mindset has heavy influence on todays youth.

Generation Text is here and everwhere you look you see people typing away on their tiny keypads. At work, school, the park, driving(?!), etc. It is their boon of everyday life. Without their cell phone, people cant seem to function right, until it gets replaced. Which usally happens rather promplty after losing or breaking theirs.
