black t-shirt convention

A concert, house show, party, or similar occasion when a group of "scenesters" can be found trying to outcool each other. Often the attire of those at these functions includes a black t-shirt, which may have a band logo, skull, or something else retarded printed on it.

person 1:Do you remember that hardcore show?
person 2: Yeah, fucking black t-shirt convention.

it ain't real cherry

Doja Cat's song "Candy" has a quote that says "she's just like candy, she's so sweet, but you know that it ain't real candy, know that it ain't real candy". The quote implies that someone is very sweet, but the cherry in it is not real but in fact chemicals and nasty sugars. So saying "it ain't real cherry" would be like describing something that seems sweet but isn't good for you. Or if someone is "fake"

"She may be nice but she'll bite you in the ass. It ain't real cherry, dude"
