Demons

Demons are usually things that go bump in the night, leaving fears in shadows. They grip you, and make you believe it's all in your head. What they don't get is that leaving keys behind are their downfall.

I had demons once, they would visit me in the middle of the night in my dorm. I am sure they found it quite amusing, making things disappear as well as making me late in the mornings.
I remember it well, it stopped after a time, when the locks were changed..
