A makeshift cutting or stabbing weapon, commonly manufactured clandestinely in a jail or prison using commonly available items or contraband. Also known as a shiv, shank, banger, etc. A term used in the Pennsylvania prisons.

A person who is a first responder, or wishes they could become one, who has to act as if it is their god given duty to make everyone aware as to what they do. A whacker will have the most lights, the newest gear, the most tools, and post the most on social media just to say they have it. Whackers are often made fun of by other first responders due to their self centered demeanor.
