In Rec Room, you can meet, chat, and play games such as paintball, laser tag, and quests with other players via Rec Room Original games(aka RROs), though Rec Room also features UGC(User Generated Content) in which players can use the in-game creation tools to create inventions that other players can use, as well as custom clothing that players can buy with in-game currency and custom rooms that others can play. Players can become Rec Room+ members(which is a monthly subscription requiring real money) to unlock extra perks, such as extra in-game Tokens, items, and the ability to sell UGC content for Tokens, as well as exchange Tokens for real money via Rec Room’s creator tools. Tokens are Rec Room’s in-game currency, used to buy various things like avatar items, items in UGC rooms, and items like skins for weapons and tools.
