An app that is made by a chinese company, specifically ByteDance, which is related to the communist government.

They take your location, interests and other stuff without permission, in return of short videos (in the for you tab) that is selected by an algorithm which shows videos that is okie dokie to china.

In short, uninstall the app. It knows everything about you.

They downloaded TikTok for entertainment, but they didn't know they know their personal information.
