Ginder

A derogatory term used towards male adolescent (or adult) of Indian decent, assimilated into American, hip-hop style/culture. Can be identified by skinny jeans, cuffed at the bottom, joggers, particularly grey, a fade haircut, and claims to have commitment issues. And claims to be a hip-hopper but only listens to Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Particularly albums that date past 2015. Their Instagram pictures usually have other Ginders with captions quoting God's Plan or other Drake quotes. Only comfortable with revealing their falsely claimed ego, macho, and bravado when surrounded by other people of Indian descent.

I went out with this guy last night, he was a total Ginder.

A tough, unspectacular hockey player who is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. This is usually meant to be a compliment; a "grinder" is usually an overachiever.

Tough, gritty, hustling hockey player who stops the other team from scoring rather than scoring himself.

Jed Ortmeyer of the New York Rangers is a true grinder.

It refers to the lifestyle of the young, emerging worker in the knowledge economy. In addition, a satire on the corporate exploitation of talent in the knowledge production markets; similar in the way casual Fridays were spawned by tech workers in the early 90s.

Grinding Uglies

An application of Pascal's Law: a change in the pressure of an enclosed incompressible fluid is conveyed undiminished to every part of the fluid and to the surfaces of its container.

Usually whist dancing, but not exclusively so, a person, usually female, while rub her rump on the crotch of a guy. During this exchange the junk of the man converts to the same properties as an enclosed incompressible fluid and if timed right can lead to the male's orgasm. A combination of the 'bumping uglies' and 'grinding.'

There was alot of bumping and grinding going on then suddenly we were grinding uglies!
