Bait and Switch

A form of humor where the audience expects something obvious to happen, but then something else happens/appears out of nowhere.

Bait and Switch Example:

(ASDF)

Bully: "Hey, you four-eyed freak!"

Guy with glasses: "Ah..."

(The screen zooms out, revealing a third person; a midget who LITERALLY has four eyes)

"...Don't listen to him!"

(The guy with four eyes screeches at him)

covid bait

A person with one or more visible risk factors for severe Covid-19 illness, especially if the factors are within the individual's ability to mitigate.

Jerry's over 300 pounds and I saw him sharing smokes with the other factory workers. That guy is covid bait, it's just a matter of time.

Bait is when one is trying to get a certain (generally negative) reaction out of someone or a group of people by stating something that would be taboo or otherwise negatively received by them

Josh baited the Pro Smash Bros. Players by saying they all like Steve with a pickaxe cause he's a miner (minor).

Sign read bait

Type of sign indicating non-entry to a property. It kinda troll you with a clever phrase, and also the images I found on google shows a weird thing of Zombie bait. But, meh, personally, I think are signs that put away, unsucessfuly, the drunky kids of the grass.
