A person who has claimed responsibility for an entry on a community sourced website (like Wikipedia) and who refuses to let others update the entry in question.

Oh no! I updated 'Snickers' on Wikipedia and a wikihawk took it down less than a minute later. My professor is never going to give me credit for the update now.

Teacher 1: My student handed in a paper that said that Martin Luther King Jr. was actually white.
Teacher 2: Did he source his facts?
Teacher 1: Yeah, to wikipedia.
Teacher 2: I'm scoping right now, and it looks like he's correct.
Teacher 1: Oooh. I suspect some wikipediatrics are at play here.

Commuters in the NYC subway system have noticed wikisigns, helping them find the right car doors closest to given connections.
