Hero complex

Someone that portrays themself as a hero.

The first responder was always the first one there, and though nobody questioned his/her hero complex, there weren't too many other people that wanted the world to burn.

Super-hero-ish

A fictional character whose behavior and speech intentionally represent those of being fearless. Super-hero-ish ways keep you constantly at war with your real self and self-destruction. Includes being totally adventurous, acting as your own doubles, a copycat, or split personality.

Delilah is a super-hero-ish type personality. Her ways intentionally represent those of a fearless Delilah keeping her representing her other self, a psychopathic being unrestrained by the conventions of a civilized world but hurting so bad inside.

The act of finding a clandestine location for a public toot a la Wonder Woman or Superman. Abandoned alleys and non-existent phone booths are preferred locations.

War hero

that one friend who will not go quietly into the night. who is not an expendable asset no matter how much of a nuisance he or she might be.

roger: can you come to my house again. we are grilling again.

doger: yea

roger: we have to some our chores first and shovel some dog shit in my kennels

doger: ok. what should i bring for dinner.

roger: just some chicken or bratts. the kids get so excited when you come.

doger: (in his own mind: what???). Okay be right over.

roger's wife: is he coming again ? this unwanted friend of ours??

doger: do not speak about my friend that way. he is a war hero from work. they drew first blood. be nice to him.
