Get the Sciokyo mug.A fun, humble toaster car, manufacturer by Scion, that is often ridiculed for it's boxy profile.
Scion is a now-defunct branch of Toyota, since 2016. The first-gen (2003-2006) xBs used the Toyota 1NZ-FE Inline 4 1.5L engine, capable of producing around 108 Hp. The second-gen xBs (2008-2015) used the Toyota 2AZ-FE Inline 4 2.4L engine, capable of producing around 158 Hp.
Despite the tC being Scion's top-selling car overall, the xB is the most iconic, dubbing the nickname "the toaster". While the xBs are not the best looking cars, they are fun (especially first generation manuals), fuel efficient, and extremely spacious on the interior. It's an ideal city car, but not highly recommend for extreme long-distance traveling.
An overwhelmingly majority of people who dislike the xB are people who have never driven them. Owners of xBs often praise the car for it's fun driving experience and spacious interior. While it's aesthetics are questionable, and it's engine isn't the most powerful, it doesn't have to be a high powered sports car to be a fun one.
The alternator belt, however, is a complete bitch and the advertisements look like a fever dream...
