An op is an open-party or an open-pad, basically meaning, you don’t need an invite to get in. Usually used to start house parties/ ragers.
Amanda: hey do u want to go to jack’s party later?
mia: do we have an invite?

Op is used when you don't know what to say, to something tragic.
