It is particularly used in the context of basketball as Green means excellent shot timing on the shit ass game 2k. It is used to ironically comment on basketball players missing or showcasing a particular move.

Green FN (Fuck Nigga) Is a term that was primarily used in NBA 2K where when you shoot the ball and get a perfect release the shot meter will turn green and automatically go in. Its used ironically now after shots where the ball would predictably miss or the shooters form is terrible.
