Slang for Carolina, referring to North and South Carolina. It is believed to been first used in the early 1900's to describe someone from the Carolinas.

On the way to Florida, we drove through Cakalacky.

My aunt is from Souf Cakalacky.

Calaan is a human who can be sweet, but terrifying if you cross them. Quiet and cute, Calaan can be the person you can depend on to talk about cats or catch the bus with, but possibly awkward at accepting compliments. Overall, if you have a Calaan, treat them with care otherwise they will mysteriously disappear in the middle of the night.
