A complete poser who thinks she's a punk just because she's wearing ties and studded belts. Wanted to make a new kind of music when she first started out, but the music is just as similar as Hilary Duffs and Ashlee Simpsons.
When her first CD was released, she tried to impress the whole world by running around with a skateboard and a new "skate punk" image.
Don't even know what punk rock is first of all.
Can't write lyrics, can't sing and she sucks on the guitar! Her lyrics are just the same: AAARGH, everyone has to be scared of me because I can get really pissed when my boyfriend dumps me!!
That's so pathetic.
Now, she's dyed her hair blonde, walk around like a prep and she's also planning to release a new record in early 2007. And what is that gonna sound like?

Avril Lavigne is a Canadian singer who released her first CD in 2002. She has a fanbase across the world due to her talent and her "Fuck you I'll do what I want" personality. Many people believe she is a "Wannabe punk star" when she states in many interviews she is not punk or trying to be punk, seriously you guys need to get over yourselves <3. A singer born in Napanee, Ontario, Canada. She started singing country when she was young. In high school, she was a cheerleader and she took chorus and hockey, although she denies at times the first one. She has a nice voice, but her reputation is really bad because she called her music punk, new country, and then heavy metal. Her music is pop, basically. It has tinges of rock, but that's about it. One listen to her first CD, Let Go, will make you wonder.
