Coat Switching

Coat Switching is when you change your language and mannerism to adapt to a cultural or religious environment. Similar to "code switching" which is more often used to express something or someone using more than one language or dialect. Coat Switching is used more to convey who you are as a person

example 1. The boyz from the hood "coat switched" around the new girls parents, trying to make a good first impression so that she would get their permission. example 2. The boy was coat switching on his return to the Islands so the "locals" accepted him.

When you have a broken item, buy a new one identical to it, and return it with the broken item packaged neatly in the new box to get your money back.

guy 1: I pulled a kentucky switcheroo on Best buy with my busted iphone case. They didn't say a word!

guy 2: Man, that's bunk! Someone else is gonna end up with your broken crap!

switcher

A person who essentially "switches" from friend to friend, party to party, trying to attain the most networking contacts and befriend the most people. A fairly shallow individual, this person seeks out other like individuals to extend their network further and further, leeching off of the individuals with healthy relationships.

Damnit, she fucking bailed on me again. I hate switchers.
