usually between sometime in middle school to high school (or if you're SUPER unlucky, college, whereas then you might just be an awkward person at that point) where you do socially unacceptable things and don't realize how unacceptable they are until you look back many years later and realize how nerdy/socially unacceptable/odd you were. symptoms include: public displays of white girls trying to act ghetto and shopping at wet seal and males with an uncanny obsession with a card/video game with fictional characters

Jenny: "Oh god, remember when Carrie dressed really ugly for that slutty sophomore Halloween party?"
Carrie: "Shut up Jenny. that was my awkward stage!"

When someone goes to the tiolet but holds on while sitting there because there are other people in the room (public toilets) they then wait till the person/people leave till the "go"

Theatrical choreography or improvisation that creates the illusion of physical combat without hurting the actors. Sometimes actors make no real physical contact when engaging in stage combat. When actual contact is made, care is taken to ensure punches and kicks land on sturdy muscle groups, while appearing to cause pain. One of the most dangerous contact moves is the face slap, which puts the ears, eyes, nose, and jaw at very high risk.

talking stage

it basically means that two people are getting their feelings together and you guys are just trying to figure out you guys feelings and what you guys are meant for each other. During this stage, you guys may be flirting a lot but are still not into a relationship as your feelings dont fit the expectations yet. But, that feelings might come and go for each other but will still flirt with each other which can mean and turns into a waste of time but at the end both of you guys will feel very happy but not as excepted as u want to be.

Stage Manager

The person that is below the director in terms of superiority. Generally one of the people with a headset. He/she will be at rehearsals to run them if the director is busy. He/she is generally a nice person unless you piss them off. They are the ones responsible for calling cues during a show, pulling the curtain, sometimes moving set pieces. Without him/her and the rest of the stage crew there wouldn't be a show.

Where did the stage manager go? We need someone to run rehearsal..
