Some are quite friendly, and although attractive, are wary of intimate relationships, and rare are the Meric's that are social animals. More commonly the same pronounciation of the name Meric is spelled as "Merik" , "Marick" and even "Marik". Although it still pronounced the same, the female version is typically the"Merrick" surname.

Get the Meric mug.Merion Mercy Academy is located in Merion Station, PA, and is by far the actual best all-girls school in Philly, yet is half the price of all the other snobby WASP Inter-Ac schools like EA, Agnes Irwin, Baldwin and is way more diverse than other Main Line girls schools the Academy of Notre Dame or Villa Maria. And, you actually have to be smart to get in. We're also just much better than the Mount. Period. Riley the dog is our one and only love, the messy bun is part of the uniform, and STP rules the school. We root for the Golden Bears, and Catherine McAuley's teachings play a central role in our educational philosophy. Our year is filled with fun stuff like Weenie Roast, Red Green Jingle day, Harvest Moon, etc... We have the best cafeteria (Dining Commons) in the Delaware Valley and the fries are divine. St. Joe's Prep guys are literally falling over themselves to date MMA girls. You'll meet girls from Delco, Montco, Philly and even South Jersey. Simply put Merion girls dominate in all they do!!! Three cheers for the blue and the gold!

The average faux-merican will tell others what to do, what's right and what's wrong, and encourage or force others not to do things he/she deems as "wrong". They are usually conservative, but can come from any political background. They are the people who bash the French for no reason. They are the folks who watch Foxnews and think Rush Limbaugh is a swell guy with a little problem. They're the people who spat on troops coming back from Vietnam. They are ignorant, undereducated, but have opinions on anything and everything which are usually wrong. They are the folks who chastise you for speaking out against the war in Iraq.
In short, they are the people who give America a bad name. They are closet fascists who think that freedom means doing everything the bible / cnn / Rush Limbaugh / Bill Clinton / or whoever / whatever says. They're the ones who make you cringe and wish you were Canadian when they open their mouths.
