The Pathet Lao were a quite unknown but major group of communist guerrilas in Laos similar to the viet cong and viet minh and Khmer Rouge.

They were active during the vietnam war and still control Laos today.

Many people were killed in the civil war.

Chou: I hate those Pathet Lao the slaughtered my entire family.

Anh: I know, I wish Laos would drop communist rule.

Laos

- A small, landlocked country bordered by Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand & Mekhong river. The capital city is Vientiane (Wiang Chan). It's like a communism & more traditionalism version of Thailand.
Fun fact : It used to have more land until the Thais conquered the current Isan region.
- The singular version that's normally used to call the people (Lao), is used as a derogatory by low-educated Thais to look down any fellow Thai (sometimes to Lao people) who's out of the trend.

National food of Laos is Tam Bak Hung (Somtam), Larb and sticky rice, you don't go to Laos if you miss them. Very Zaab.
