An abbreviation for 'critical hit', a term used in dice-based role playing games which indicates the best possible damage result in combat.

1. A term for an attack doing either double damage, or significantly more damage than usual. Taken from the game manuals and guides of countless RPGs, including but not limited to Pokemon and Dungeons & Dragons, and anything themed after D&D, etc.
Sweet, my near-dead-Machamp's/Fighter's Revenge/Cleave attack scored a critical hit on that Tyrrannitar-with-poor-defense/weak Kobold!!!PWN!!!!11!

The time in the middle of a crisis either that outcome will be bad to worse. Also the outcome could be from bad to good vice versa.

crit a cola

this is a secondary item for the scout class from tf2 that upon use gives a 100% chance to minicrit for 8 seconds
the downside of this is when the effect ends the scout will be marked for death for 5 seconds

when a player is marked for death all damage they take will be minicrits
scout: im gonna go in and take out the heavy
team: the heavy can tank and kill you though
scout: not with the crit a cola
