i thought this was of jamaican origin. bumberclut means cloth used on the bum. basically calling someone shit rag.

another word similar to this is blodclut. i can leave it to your imagination what this means!!

Black Bombers

"Black Bombers", otherwise "Duraphet" popular drug from the early 60's through to the mid 80's, after which they phased out and replaced by illegally manufactured blues" and eventually "Sulphate amphetamine powder".
Next to "purple hearts" and "Dex's", Black Bombers were the best known and most widespread drugs used by a generation of young people, especially in the capital's nightlife.

I recall in the 60's buying "Black Bombers" to make me feel great and to keep me up all night.

bummer times

an understanding, but half-hearted consolation given to those experiencing difficult times in their lives. Is used when one wishes to express the feeling that there is no point in moping around anymore and that it is time to move on,but it still conveys the message that recipient's pain is understood.

Person A: "Why you looking so depressed dude?"

Person B: "My girl just broke up with me"

Person A: "Bummer times man. Guess it just wasn't meant to be."

O-bummer

An emotion not unlike depression brought on by the realization that you voted for Obama due to white guilt, and now you're going to get screwed because you're not "ethnic enough" for change.

Larry the anglo-american construction worker finds out his firm is letting him go for more "ethnic" workers as part of a bailout package his employer and union will be receiving. It doesn't matter that the people being hired are underqualified, they're the right color. He's experiencing an "O-bummer".
