Twice in Norway in 2013 and once in Denmark in December 2015. 2013 was also the first year that smartphone sales overtook the sale of dumb/feature/basic cell phones meaning that Gen Alpha will not know a world without always being connected online everywhere. COVID is another event that most Gen Alpha's will not be cognizant for or vaguely remember because of their young age at the time.
Most Gen Alpha's will be the children of Millennials (1981-1996). However, as of 2021 there is actually an on-going trend of Millennials having less children than any other generation. With a record low globally of only 58.3 out of 1000 women giving birth.
