While these past two generations seem to dig the cultural fun in your body being a “canvas” the newer generations are going to create a so-called “Swing Back” where they think tattoos and piercings are gross or too mainstream and will not do anything to their bodies in this art form.

Get the Generation Text ™mug. People who grew up with the Lord of the Rings books and movies (mainly the Peter Jackson film trilogy. The original series was first published in the 1950s but started to become more of a worldwide phenomenon in the 200os thanks to the film adaptations being released. That's when more people started getting into it and loving it ever since).
I was 13 years old when The Fellowship of the Ring was first released back in the early 2000s. I'm a proud member of the Lord of the Rings generation.
